The 7 Teachings change what you are tuned to.
Human beings live on a kind of vibration. Poverty is a vibration. So is wealth. So is illness. So is health. Despair, joy, focus, scatter — all vibrations.
Each one is built out of the ten thousand small things a person thinks, says, and does in a day. Each one, once stable, reinforces itself: it pulls in matching evidence, rejects mismatched evidence, surrounds itself with people who confirm it. In cybernetic terms, it is a self-reinforcing default state. Most people spend their lives on a vibration they did not choose.
The 7 Teachings, practiced in order and locked in by Rhythm, are how you change vibration. Once the new state is stable, the results that used to require effort begin to arrive automatically. Hill called this automatic success. Every serious wisdom tradition has a name for it. The mechanism is the same.
Whether you think you can or you can't — you are right.
— NAPOLEON HILL, THINK AND GROW RICH, 1937
What changes when the vibration changes
- Lost 40 pounds, finally
- Rebuilt the relationship with my son
- Left the wrong job
- Launched the company
- Recovered from grief
- Stopped drinking
- Finished the dissertation
- Reconnected with my brother
None of these are the vision. They are what becomes possible when the vibration that holds them in place finally changes.
This is why people use the 7 Teachings to lose weight, rebuild marriages, leave wrong jobs, launch right companies, finish the work that has been sitting in a drawer for nine years. The Teachings don't target those outcomes. They change the vibration the outcomes live in. Then the outcomes change with it.
